Canada Immigration - Scholarships To Study In Canada

Back in 2018, as many as 721,000 international students were taking education in Canada. In the same year, more than 50,000 former international students became permanent residents in Canada. This is because when international students have Canadian educational qualifications, the necessary skills, and are proficient in any one of the Canadian official languages; they are readily accepted for work in Canada.

With these numbers, it is obvious to see that The Government of Canada welcomes and encourages international students. Their International Education Strategy for 2019-2024 also focuses on this aspect. The strategy takes action to improve its services and communication with international people who wish to go to Canada simply for a visit, for study, or even work.

The only obstacle in this ideal picture –is that studying in Canada doesn’t come cheap. The tuition fee i.e. the prime expenditure for undergraduate, postgraduate, or doctoral degrees varies anywhere between CAD 5,000 to 50,000. But the good news is that the needful international students can find various Scholarships for Canada Education which they can benefit from. The Government, private individuals, institutes, and even the schools and universities themselves provide scholarships to international students. The scholarships are mostly based upon merit and grades.
